Make a Difference
We believe every person, city, town or community has a future that belongs to our God. We believe every people group and nation has within its design a redemptive purpose created by God. Our passion is to see this come true, because we believe we can ‘Make a Difference’ and can play a vital role in the achievement of this dream. The more we can partner together, the more we can ‘Make a Difference’ and help advance His kingdom here on earth.
What we believe about Finances?
We believe everything we have comes from God and actually belongs to God. We as followers of Christ are but stewards of everything God bestows on us and therefore we should live with everything we own under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Money is much more than an economic issue; it is a heart issue. Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Because money is a window into the heart, how we handle money exposes the values and priorities of the heart. The question is not “Will God provide?” The Bible is clear about that. Numerous scriptures teach that God not only promise to provide, but He delights in our prosperity (3John 1:2). The real question is “What will we do with His provision?” Will money be a trap to pull us away from God, or will it be a tool for us to advance His kingdom? It all depends on the condition of our hearts.
The attitude of giving:
Someone once said; the attitude determines the altitude. It is true that when it comes to giving that God tests and examines the heart above all. Our attitudes are important to God. We believe and we purpose to give to God because we want to honor Him. We give to God willingly to obey His commands, because we love Him. We give in faith to God, because we want to show our trust in Him as our Source in life. We give to God to bless Him and to bless the work of His kingdom, because we are blessed and trust Him to continue to bless us. Paul pointed to the Macedonian church as an example for others to follow in the area of giving. (2 Corinthians 8-9)
- They gave generously
- They gave sacrificially
- They gave expectantly
- They gave cheerfully
- They gave regularly
The purpose of money:
We believe that money in itself is not evil, but the love of money is. Money takes on the spirit of the one who uses it. God gives us money to enable us to express our love, if our love is not pure love, then money will expose our real motives and heart condition. The way we spend and place priority on our money is an expression of love, or the lack thereof. There are four expressions of love that can be expressed through our use of finances and resources; Our love offering as a gratitude towards God who first loved us. Our love towards God and the advancement of His kingdom. Our love towards our Spiritual Family (church) and our love for the people and nations in the world.

All of us have a part to play. We value people being generous with their time, talents and resources and that is what will make a difference in people’s lives. At the end of the day it’s all about adding value to someone else’s life as you live out your ministry and calling. Jesus said that we should serve each other as He served us.
